Start with the exact legal and technical scope
Confirm the licensed entity, emirate, activity, system type and whether specialist work is direct or partner-delivered. General fire-safety language is not enough.
Test the project controls
Ask how the contractor handles submittals, approved systems, trained applicators, material storage, inspection, deviations, photographs, defects and handover.
Watch for red flags
Blanket approvals, unverifiable references, one-product-fits-all proposals, missing exclusions, silent substitutions and unusually fast promises usually transfer risk to the buyer.

Codes, approvals, credentials, system evidence and authority requirements change. Confirm the current legal entity, scope, project specification and acceptance route before procurement or installation.
