01 / Passive Fire Protection

Protect critical barriers with system-matched evidence.

Survey, design coordination, firestopping, structural fireproofing, QA/QC and traceable handover for demanding construction and industrial environments.

Direct route

A controlled path from requirement to delivery.

Vortexen delivers passive fire protection packages intended to maintain compartmentation, protect structural elements and support project compliance. The route can cover technical review, material supply, installation, inspection support, rectification and close-out.

The installed condition—not the marketing name of a material—determines whether a solution is defensible. Barrier construction, opening size, penetrating services, insulation, movement, exposure, required rating and local acceptance must be understood before commitment.

Connected building-protection scopes can include façade cavity barriers, thermal-insulation interfaces, acoustic sealing, fire-rated movement joints, industrial floor coatings and exterior-insulation interfaces. Each remains subject to the project specification, tested assembly, approved manufacturer route and Vortexen's verified scope.

  • A usable handover and evidence pack
02 / Inputs

What Vortexen needs to qualify it

  • Project location and end user
  • Drawings, BOQ and specification
  • Required fire rating
  • Wall, floor or steel details
  • Penetrant and opening schedule
  • Programme and inspection deadline
01 / Scope

What the route can cover

  • Movement and head-of-wall joints
  • Curtain-wall perimeter and façade cavity barriers
  • Intumescent steel fireproofing
  • Cementitious fireproofing
  • Fire-rated boards and enclosures
  • Thermal-insulation and acoustic-sealing interfaces
  • Industrial floor-coating and EIFS interface coordination
  • Opening schedules, tagging and close-out dossiers
02 / Method

How work moves forward

  1. Review drawings, BOQ, specifications and actual interfaces
  2. Map each condition to suitable system evidence and approval path
  3. Submit materials, method, programme and inspection controls
  4. Execute with controlled materials and trained teams
  5. Inspect, rectify, tag and compile close-out records
03 / Evidence

What buyers should expect

  • Project-specific system references
  • Material and batch traceability
  • Installer and inspection records
  • Before-and-after photographs
  • Verified credential scope only

Commercial and technical guardrails

What this route refuses to hide.

Fast progress is valuable only when assumptions, responsibility and limitations remain visible to the buyer and delivery team.

  • 01No one-product-fits-all substitution
  • 02No credential applied beyond its documented entity and scope
  • 03No concealed variation to tested configuration
  • 04No handover without location-level records

Frequently asked

Answers before the first meeting.

01Is a firestop product approval enough?+

No. The complete installed condition must match a tested, listed or project-accepted system, including barrier, penetrants, dimensions, annular space, materials, orientation and required rating.

02Can Vortexen provide supply only or installation only?+

The route can be supply-only, installation-only or supply-and-install, but technical responsibility, inspection responsibility and warranty basis must be defined before quotation.

03What is needed for a reliable PFP quotation?+

Provide drawings, BOQ, specification, fire ratings, opening or steel schedule, project location, access constraints, programme and available photographs.

Bring the actual requirement, evidence and deadline.
