01

Fireproofing slows steel temperature rise

The system is designed to keep structural steel below the project critical temperature for the required exposure period. It does not make steel fireproof without limits.

02

The complete build-up matters

Substrate, primer, bond coat, reinforcement, density, thickness, finish, water exposure and damage protection must follow the tested and approved route.

03

Inspect before damage is hidden

Measure thickness and density as specified, record reinforcement and interfaces, repair voids or damage, and protect completed work from follow-on trades.

Project-specific verification

Codes, approvals, credentials, system evidence and authority requirements change. Confirm the current legal entity, scope, project specification and acceptance route before procurement or installation.
