Acoustic performance is assembly-led
Sealant alone does not determine airborne-sound performance. Barrier mass, joints, openings, backing, penetrants and flanking paths all influence the result.
Do not compromise the fire barrier
Where the wall or floor is fire rated, the penetration or joint needs a compatible tested firestop route. An acoustic-only product cannot be substituted without evidence.
Design for change
Data centres add and remove services. Modular systems, cable capacity, labeling, re-entry method and inspection records reduce damage during later moves and upgrades.
Project-specific verification
Codes, approvals, credentials, system evidence and authority requirements change. Confirm the current legal entity, scope, project specification and acceptance route before procurement or installation.
