A listing identifies a product or system evaluated against stated requirements. It improves traceability and technical review when the installed use matches the listing conditions.
Do not stretch the mark
A listed component does not make every assembled system listed, and a company handling listed products is not automatically a UL-qualified contractor. Exact wording protects the buyer and supplier.
